Moriah Sitz is the Development Projects Coordinator at the Arkansas Foodbank, where she has served for three years, both in her current role and as Volunteer Experience and Outreach Coordinator. With a background in education and Christian ministry, Moriah specializes in relationship-based outreach and strategic organization.

Exciting news! DA-AR is now participating with Kroger Community Rewards Program!

One of the ways in which The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact and charitable giving is through their Kroger Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s Card. Here’s how it works:

Visit http://www.kroger.com. Once logged into your Kroger account, search for DOULA ALLIANCE OF ARKANSAS either by name or IK028 and then click Enroll. New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card.

This is a simple but mighty way our community can pull together to support doulas, moms, and families as we continue to revolutionize maternal health in Arkansas!

We’re honored to spotlight our Board Member, Dr. Christina Green ✨

Born and raised in Arkansas, Dr. Green has dedicated her life to serving women and families through compassionate, expert care. After earning her degree from the University of Central Arkansas and her medical degree from UAMS, she completed her OB/GYN residency and went on to serve 12 years in the United States Air Force, including as Medical Director of the Women’s Health Care Clinic at Scott AFB.

Dr. Green currently serves patients at Saline Women’s Clinic at Saline Memorial Hospital and continues to advocate for women’s health across our state. Her leadership, service, and commitment to maternal health make her an incredible addition to the Doula Alliance of Arkansas Board.

Hi, I’m Charlotte. I’ve been married for 30 years and am the grateful mother of five amazing children. My heart has always been centered on caring for people—helping individuals and families grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.

I’m a board-certified mental and behavioral health coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors, the International Board of Christian Care, and the International Christian Coaching Association. I’m also a certified premarital coach, trained in blended family ministry, and a certified doula specializing in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

I currently serve as the Chief Operating Officer of Midtown Event Center and the Discipleship Ministry Coordinator at Mosaic Church. Whether through ministry, coaching, or leadership, my passion is helping people experience healing, growth, and deeper connection with God and one another. ✨

Our Director of Operations, Rubi Madrid, had the opportunity to join Centro Hispano En Arkansas and their La Cuna program. El Centro Hispano provides bilingual assistance to the Latino and broader community to help build a stronger community by investing in families, adults, and children. La Cuna Program supports pregnant women and moms with babies under 6 months old. Learn about prenatal and postnatal care, mental health, nutrition, and more in a welcoming,secure and supportive space. The class is taught by a Hispanic Pediatrician who made it feel like an open conversation, where you can ask questions and share your experiences. We look forward to expanding our partnership with El Centro and helping support the expansion of bilingual and hispanic doulas across Arkansas.

Nuestra Directora de Operaciones, Rubi Madrid, tuvo la oportunidad de unirse a Hispano En Arkansas y su programa La Cuna. El Centro Hispano brinda asistencia bilingüe a la comunidad latina y en general para construir una comunidad más fuerte mediante la inversión en familias, adultos y niños. El programa La Cuna apoya a mujeres embarazadas y madres con bebés menores de 6 meses, ofreciendo información sobre cuidado prenatal y postnatal, salud mental, nutrición y más. Las clases son impartidas por un pediatra hispano que fomenta una conversación abierta donde se pueden hacer preguntas y compartir experiencias en un espacio acogedor, seguro y de apoyo. Esperamos ampliar nuestra colaboración con El Centro y ayudar a expandir la presencia de doulas bilingües e hispanas en todo Arkansas.
