What a beautiful evening for Oktoberfest at Presbyterian Village! 🍂🍁

The weather couldn't have been more perfect for an evening in the courtyard filled with delicious food, live music, Flyway b**r, and wonderful fellowship!

What made the evening even more memorable was sharing it with our residents, families, board members, volunteers, and staff. We are so grateful for the people who make Presbyterian Village such a wonderful community and for special evenings like this that bring us all together!

From preparing delicious meals to serving our residents with kindness and care, our culinary team does so much more than put food on the table. They bring people together and make every meal feel special.

Our residents love arts and crafts! We enjoyed crafts and storytelling with Marilyn Willis and the UAMS Geriatric Club spent the afternoon with us doing more crafts! Can’t wait for all of them to visit us again !

Our residents are staying busy today with a full lineup of Scrabble, exercise, UNO, marbles, story time and a craft, and to top it all off, Razorback football! 🐗🏈

A great day filled with fun, friendship, and plenty of activity. We love seeing our residents enjoying it all! ❤️

We are so grateful for this partnership with UAMS Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging and for the opportunity to learn from one another across generations. ❤️

Learning, connection, and the wisdom of generations came together at Presbyterian Village

We were thrilled to welcome medical students, PA students, internal and family medicine residents, pharmacy student and geriatrics fellows as they joined us in caring for older adults in inter professional learning at nursing home and rehabilitation settings.

One of the greatest joys of geriatrics is watching learning flow both ways. Our trainees gain invaluable wisdom from residents, while our older adults share their stories, experiences, and perspectives with the next generation of healthcare professionals.

A special thank you to Dr. Mendiratta, Medical Director and preceptor, and Janet Rader, PA student preceptor, for their dedication to mentorship and education in the presbyterian village.

We are grateful for these meaningful connections and for the older adults who continue to be among our greatest teachers. ❤️

There’s no place like home… especially when home is Presbyterian Village! 💚🌈

Our residents enjoyed this activity with the wonderful Marilyn Willis. Marilyn always brings the story to life, reading in character and making it such a fun experience for everyone. This month’s story was The Wizard of Oz! ✨

Afterward, our residents got creative and made their own scarecrows inspired by one of the story’s most beloved characters.
