Maryland Alpha's chapter president, Trevor Conner, was recently selected by his chapter advisor, Prof. Angela Burrus, to receive the Dr. Patricia Williams Chapter Member of the Year award.

The award was presented to him at the conclusion of the chapter's Service Leadership Symposium, hosted and organized by Trevor himself, where attendees gathered to hear community leaders share their insights on service.

Prof. Burrus says that Trevor has "demonstrated unceasing commitment and initiative since his induction." As he moves on from his time at Bowie State University, Trevor says he is "grateful for this chapter" and "excited for what's ahead."

𝘈𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘢's Editorial Team is looking for undergraduates in the sciences to submit their research for peer review.

Having your undergraduate work featured in an academic publication is a unique opportunity that is open to Alpha Chi members at no cost.

While our multidisciplinary journal welcomes original work from all fields of study, we hope to add more science papers to our upcoming issue.

The Arkansas Iota chapter at Lyon College recently partnered with the school's Political Science Club to host a community race for the fight against food insecurity.

More than 100 canned goods were collected for the Help and Hope Food Pantry of Batesville during the event, which was supported in part by an Alpha Chi chapter activity grant.

Alpha Chi's National Induction Ceremony for new members will be held virtually on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟳, 𝗮𝘁 𝟳:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲.

While most chapters hold in-person induction ceremonies, we hope this virtual ceremony serves as a good substitute for those who were unable to attend theirs.
