On this past Saturday we were able to provide.a donation of over 200 bags of Period Supplies to be distributed to survivors of Domestic Violence survivors in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month .

Often times abusers often used the threat of not purchasing necessary hygiene supplies such as pads and tampons to hold authority over victims to prevent the victims from ending the relationship or making them comply with demands including different methods of assault.

We believe no one should have to endure situations such as this and wanted to let them know that they have support and it is ok to leave. This is why we run our Purple Pad campaign during the month of October supporting survivors of Domestic Violence.

More Chances Period is collecting period supplies for Domestic Violence Survivors October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

More Chances Period has provided period supplies monthly to 80 + survivors of Domestic Violence.

Did you know Domestic Violence has a direct correlation to Period Poverty ??? Often the abuser will use buying period supplies as a way to make the victim stay with them . The abuser is often the only income in the household meaning the victim has no way of buying supplies if the Menstruators leaves the abuser !!! We often hear this when we are serving victims who have left their abuser . This includes teenage students as well

Everyday is Period Action Day for us .We can only do the work we do with your help and support please see our Amazon Wish list to purchase supplies to be shipped directly to us to help service victims of Domestic Violence . Our link is below to shop our Amazon Wish List .

Today is National Period Action Day

Period Action Day is recognized on October 10, 2026 . Period Action Day is It is a global day of advocacy to end period poverty and stigma. More Chances Period continues to be boots on the ground all 365 days of the year . Over the last 3 months we have served over 5,000 Student Menstruators with free supplies .

Arkansas is 1 of 18 States that still has Luxury Taxes on Period Supplies. Arkansas is ranked #1 by the USDA as the most food insecure State in all of America!!!! The additional taxes on Period Supplies creates an additional heavy burden often with the hard choices to buy food or period supplies . Families can’t afford to buy both so students are left to go without period supplies .

We often here this when we are serving victims who have left their abuser .

We serve many different Menstruators in many different situations that are impacted by many different . We take our work to serve the community very seriously!!! We can only do the work we do with your help and support
