The DeMolay Leaders of Arkansas are hosting an induction ceremony on Saturday, June 8th at the historic The Albert Pike Masonic Center in Little Rock beginning at 1:00 PM. All good young men ages 12-20 are invited to apply for membership in our century-old organization.

So proud of Conway, Westwood, and SEARK Chapters who competed at the DeMolay International Frank Marshall Championship Tournament (speech/drama competition) this weekend. These young men performed phenomenally and represented our jurisdiction quite well!

DeMolay International has 7 Cardinal Virtues that are the pillars of our fraternity. The 2nd Precept is "Reverance for Sacred Things".

To be eligible for membership, an applicant must profess a belief in God.

HOWEVER, the inductee is taught that "...in our Chapter, we teach no religious creed. Your religious opinions are you own. But we do earnestly enjoin upon you the sacredness of faith, the beauty of a humble reliance on the goodness of God."

Therefore, boys from various backgrounds come together to better themselves through the teachings of DeMolay, their school, their church, and most importantly, their family unit.

As for me, today is a most blessed day for my "religious opinion" is that of being a Christian. Happy Easter to all who celebrate, and may God bless each and every one of us.
