Ones who thrived with each fall.
Ones who grew uncomfortable with each rise.
The ones who preferred that I stayed in my strongholds.
Ones who never clicked from day one; but were entertained by the regular trials that were stuck on replay.

Ones who benefit from sources and connections.
Ones who I looked up to, and they only envied the potential…

(Something that I have not tapped into yet)

Broken from the pieces of what used to be solid.

God revealed their hearts; and it has been one of my many hard lessons.

Guard your heart; he warns!
The people-pleaser and abandoned child wouldn’t listen!

Now I fight with the Helmet of Salvation, Sword of his Word, Breastplate of Righteousness that is securely on my chest…
Belt of Truth; people-pleasing aside!

Boots of Peace; now that the Lord has removed the green snakes out of me and my children's lives."
