Gracie's House Our mission is safe spaces for LGBTQ+ young people in rural areas

The mission of Gracie’s House is to help organizations create, maintain, and protect safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth. We offer grants and resources for LGBTQ+ organizations serving rural areas, run summer camps and family weekend camps for LGBTQ+ youth and their families, and provide safe spaces for creative expression.

Pride Camp served 48 campers this season! Our campers learned self-defense, yoga, newspaper class, tie-dye, archery, shooting sports, guitar, field sports, campfires, outdoor living skills, nature, education, camp games and so much more.

It’s almost time for the Gracie’s House Online Auction! From October 28th - November 5th, Gracie’s House supporters will have the chance to bid on all kinds of art pieces, gift baskets, unique experiences, and more.

If you’d like to donate, the deadline is October 15th! Popular donations include art pieces, outdoor equipment, gift baskets and gift cards from local businesses, homemade specialty meals, services, and unique experiences.

Last but certainly not least of our wonderful Camp sponsors are the folks from the LGBTQ+ Giving Circle at the Lancaster County Community Foundation!

Launched in October 2022, the LGBTQ+ Giving Circle was formed by a group of local volunteers and donors to raise visibility and address the needs of LGBTQ+ communities in Lancaster County.
