We had a great day with the Schools- Litchfield Isd 465 5th graders at our annual pollinator planting day. Thank you to Name-Less Creek Prairie Farm LLC for preparing the site for planting. Thank you to county farm bureau and farm bureau financial services through Michael Niedzielski for providing transportation for the students. Other station hosts and funding partners are; LCCMR,
Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Meeker SWCD, University of Minnesota Extension, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Minnesota. And thank you to US Fish and Wildlife Service for the land to enhance for pollinators and other wildlife.

We had a great Hands on Habitat day on Saturday! One group installed posts, fabric, rock and signs at the new parking lot. The other group planted over 100 oak trees to enhance the existing oak savanna. Thank you for use of the bobcat, Name-Less Creek Prairie Farm LLC for drilling the holes to make post installation easier, and Litchfield Boy Scout Troop 3353 for planting all the oak trees.

The ​39th Annual Meeker County Pheasants Forever Banquet​ hosted by ​Meeker County (MN) - 0123​ on ​2/28/2026​ is just around the corner and the birds could use your support! Not only can you look forward to a great atmosphere, surrounded by fellow upland enthusiasts and bird dog lovers, but you can take pride in knowing your dollars will go to work on critical upland habitat and public access.

Here's a sneak peek at what you can expect:
Doors open at 5:30 with a broasted chicken dinner, live and silent auctions, and several raffles for merchandise, and trips.
