Fall for fainting goats..."show" diversity!

Welcome back to the same venue as last year! We are super excited to have our 9th annual show at such a great venue. We have worked very hard to bring a show closer to you! It is very important to have the support of the breeders! It would be an honor to have you join us. Bring 1 or bring 10, we would love to have you.

Don't let the word "show" scare you! It is more like a gathering of people who love their goats, and the goats they love. It is a weekend spent promoting the fabulous breed, educating yourself on what to look for in a "breeding" animal, and learning from each other. We don't "compete" against each other, we have fun and "help" each other! If you have never showed before, that is fine! Most of us had never shown before but after seeing the fun and friends we could make we do it every year now!

Not able to attend? You can still help us out. We are also looking for show sponsors. Sponsor the show while promoting your herd! For only $30 we will print your business card in the show program. On the next page, is a list of other options too! We will also be selling T-shirts, hats & bumper stickers

Boxing Day takes place on December 26th and is only celebrated in a few countries.

It was started in the UK about 800 years ago, during the Middle Ages. It was the day when the alms box, collection boxes for the poor often kept in churches, were traditionally opened so that the contents could be distributed to poor people. Some churches still open these boxes on Boxing Day.

It was also traditional that servants got the day off to celebrate Christmas with their families on Boxing Day. Before World War II, it was common for working people (such as milkmen and butchers) to travel round their delivery places and collect their "Christmas box" or tip.

Now Boxing Day is primarily known as a shopping holiday, much like Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) in the United States. In Canada, Boxing Day is a federal statutory holiday and Boxing Day sales are common often with dramatic price reductions.

Claims of saving 1100 jobs from Carrier and UTEC reflects 300 jobs that were NEVER leaving in the first place so he only actually saved 800 of the 2100 jobs that Carrier and UTEC announced it was sending to Mexico. 1300 jobs are still leaving the country, this is NOT a victory.

In touting his deal with Carrier about shipping jobs to Mexico, Trump exaggerated the jobs saved and the regulations affecting the plant.

How horrible....

The likely cause of a house fire that claimed the life a local veterinarian Wednesday is a heat lamp that was being used to keep a box of baby chickens warm inside her house, according to a state official.
