Youth Behavioral Health Summit – UNMUTED

Marvilee is proud to host the first Youth Behavioral Health Summit – UNMUTED, a day dedicated to empowering youth, reducing stigma, mental and connecting students with behavioral health resources.
This summit is made possible through the power of community collaboration. We are proud to partner with CenterPointe , Stop Overdose Nebraska, SCIP - School Community Intervention & Prevention, Bryan Medical Center East Campus Lincoln Public Schools Hope Squad, BraveBe Child Advocacy Center Houses of Hope of Nebraska, Inc. , Doane University , Wellbeing Initiative, Inc. CEDARS the YAB4housinglincoln and many other organizations committed to improving youth behavioral health.
Youth will experience inspiring keynote remarks from Dr. Ryan Carruthers, Chief Clinical Officer at CenterPointe, President of the Marvilee Board of Directors, and author of "Beyond the Twelve."
Students will also enjoy interactive breakout sessions featuring Narcan training, QPR su***de prevention GateKeeper training, mental health and social media, careers in behavioral health and peer support, with a youth panel sharing lived experiences.
The summit will also include a behavioral health resource fair connecting youth with valuable community resources.
Every youth attendee will receive a FREE Youth Behavioral Health Summit – UNMUTED T-shirt, a swag bag filled with behavioral health resources, and a sack lunch provided by ChefauChef!
We are especially honored to have John Skretta, Ed.D, Superintendent of Lincoln Public Schools, will welcome attendees and kick off the summit with opening remarks.
Together, we are creating a community where every young person feels seen, heard, valued, and supported. Through collaboration, education, and hope, we can ensure that youth voices remain UNMUTED.
