At Misfit by Design, we believe people are more than their worst mistake, their addiction, their trauma, or their past. We believe when people are given the tools to heal from the inside out, lives can change before prison, homelessness, relapse, or hopelessness become the outcome.

While families gathered this weekend around grills, campfires, and loved ones…
there are still people sitting alone in survival mode, wondering how they’re going to make it through another day.

Some people don’t need another lecture.
They don’t need another label.

Sometimes what changes a life is simply someone willing to sit in the mess with them and say:
“You’re not too far gone.”

At Misfit by Design, we believe healing starts when people feel seen, heard, and valued again. We meet people where they are whether they are struggling with addiction, homelessness, trauma, self-worth, anxiety, or simply trying to believe in themselves again.

This program is about rebuilding from the inside out.
Teaching emotional regulation.
Cognitive thinking skills.
Healthy coping skills.
Purpose.
Confidence.
And hope.

Because people do not heal when they feel judged.
People heal when they finally believe change is possible.

Almost a full year of showing up for a vision that says people are more than their mistakes, their trauma, their addiction, or the labels society placed on them.

At Misfit by Design, we believe healing starts when someone finally feels seen instead of judged.

Some people need housing.
Some need support.
Some need someone to believe in them long enough for them to start believing in themselves again.

We are building a prevention-based program that meets people where they are — mess and all — while helping them rebuild from the inside out through stability, cognitive growth, accountability, healing, and purpose.

Not everyone gets a support system.
Not everyone gets a second chance.
That is why we are fighting to create one.
