📣Vote Wise Nebraska Welcomes Kathy Andersen to the Board of Directors!📣

Vote Wise Nebraska is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy Andersen to our Board of Directors.

Andersen serves as Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development. Additional leadership and ecosystem roles include Board President of NMotion, Board Secretary of Global Ties Nebraska, and Advisory Board Member for Nebraska Wesleyan University’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program.

Alongside this work, Andersen has a long record of civic participation, including years of service as an Election Board Worker and volunteer experience with political campaigns in canvassing and phone banking.

Kathy’s blend of innovation leadership, board governance, and hands-on civic service aligns with Vote Wise Nebraska’s mission to deliver clear, comprehensive, and neutral voter information to Nebraskans.

We’ve officially wrapped up our Lincoln City election voter guide survey! 📬🗳️ Thousands of you read our guide and hundreds shared your thoughts, and now, our survey data is being processed!

📊 Our team is hard at work analyzing responses to see what worked, what can be better, and how we can make our guides even more impactful in future elections. Survey feedback is driving real change in how voters get informed.

But that’s not all — this data is also fueling our next big move: expanding our reach across Nebraska. 💪 With our survey results, we’re building the case to bring our nonpartisan, comprehensive voter guides to every corner of the state.

As part of a pilot program, we successfully delivered over 20,000 comprehensive voter guides to voters in Lincoln!

The next step is sending out 4,000 surveys to determine future demand. The Bureau of Sociological Research will be processing our raw data. This of course takes money and we humbly as for modest donations.

We'd like to thank our friends at Nonpartisan Nebraska and the Nebraska Civic Engagement Table for helping us make this happen. We'd also like to thank Civic Nebraska for giving us valuable advice.

We will share our survey results as soon as we have them!
