The Nebraska Agricultural Leadership Council (NALC), the governing board of the Nebraska LEAD Program, welcomed new members and officers as the organization’s new fiscal year began on July 1.

Nebraska LEAD helps Fellows better understand the issues, organizations and leadership needed to make a difference in their communities, industries and beyond. It’s about building informed leaders who are ready to speak up, get involved and help shape the future of agriculture.

For Lily Ziehmer, the Nebraska LEAD Program has been about more than learning—it’s been about broadening her perspective, building confidence and connecting with a network of ambitious agricultural leaders who challenge and support one another.

Through in-state seminars, national and international travel, and meaningful conversations with leaders across industries, Nebraska LEAD helps Fellows develop the skills and perspective needed to make a difference in agriculture and their communities.
