Lincoln Artists' Guild By Artists, For Artists! https://lincolnartistsguild.blogspot.com/ It is an organization open to all people with a common goal to advance the visual arts.

The Lincoln Artists’ Guild (LAG) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established in 1920 to promote and encourage artists’ development at all levels. The Lincoln Artists’ Guild supports members in four key ways:
1. Encouragement: LAG provides encouragement to all artists and craftsmen at all levels.
2. Education: LAG provides a variety of educational opportunities, workshops, lectures, and discussions throughout the year.
3: Exhibition: LAG provides a forum in which the community can appreciate the visual arts through exhibits and community outreach.
4: Exploration: LAG provides opportunities to explore artistic expression with support from fellow artists. Monetary Contributions: If you wish to donate in honor of or in memory of an individual, you may send a check, payable to Lincoln Artists' Guild, to 7247 Hidden Valley Drive, Lincoln, NE 68526. We also accept Venmo . Thank you.

LAG's monthly meeting will be Thursday September 10th at 6:30 p.m. at Sheridan Lutheran Church (door 4). Program will be video culmination of Spring Show critiques, We will also have a short presentation of papier mache holiday sculptures time permitting.
Don't forget to get your entries in to Julie Hoppe by Friday September 18. Photo is requred. Entries need to be emailed or texted to Julie. (see newsletter for addresses). Bring entries to Create 48, 2726 North 48th St. between 8:30 and 10;30 a.m. on Wednesday September 30th. First Friday is October 2nd from 5-8.

Tomorrow night, August 13 is the LAG monthly meeting. Program will be how to use your travel photos in your art. Mdmbers will also be signing up for committee help for our ANAC June Convention. 6:30; Sheridan Lutheran Church, Lincoln NE. (NW side of the building - door 4) Visitors always welcome.
