Design4Refugees, Corp is a 501(c)3 non-profit, which aims to provide design services in tandem with training for entrepreneurial ventures within refugee camps. While many groups are focusing the much
needed short term and immediate relief, we focus on the long term services needed to help refugees live a life of opportunity within a camp and to apply the benefits of our services towards their future. We aim to do this by finding solutions to form entrepreneurial ventures that can generate capital for refugees within camps while they are restricted from finding employment beyond the fence without proper paperwork. We hope to lessen the burdens of maintaining proper facilities and acquiring of the needed energy to power the facility through design services and implementation of biogas systems. These biogas systems will allow for a sanitary environment within the camp while also having the ability to provide energy for each individual without depleting the limited resources of their host country.
