Happy Thanksgiving to one and all.
I am grateful for all the wonderful people that I have met, worked with, played with and watched our young men and women grow up to be outstanding adults.
After 29 years as a volunteer holding nearly every position in Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Sea Scouting, I am no longer a member in good standing of Scouting America. While I had been looking for a good way to end my career in Scouting this was not my choice. Feel free to reach out to me personally for the rest of the story.
Again, I am very grateful for all the wonderful memories and experiences throughout my time in Scouting and for all the people that have been a part of those experiences.

Bravo Zulu, Ship 339! ⚓️
This weekend we celebrated our Fall 2025 Bridge of Honor, including Admissions, Change of Watch, and Recognition Ceremonies.

Nearly 30 family, friends, and honored guests joined us to witness this time-honored tradition and celebrate the hard work of our Sea Scouts. So many milestones to recognize:

Stay Safe!

🛶 When paddling on rivers, steer clear of commercial vessels. They have the right of way in a navigation channel. Human-powered vessels should avoid commercial traffic. Boats don’t have brakes and it takes an average of ¾ to 1½ miles for a towboat pushing barges to stop. ⛴️
