We are excited and getting ready!
Please come join us tomorrow at Songs of Hope! This is a free community event starting at 5:00 at the Frederick Keys Stadium. Nonprofits from Fredrick will be sharing information and resources, interactive kids activities and service projects, free dinner, and performances! At our table we will be sharing our mission and packing Summer Snack Bags!
We will have some Main Dish Meal Bags on hand for anyone needing assistance.

Laundry with dignity and hope…
Yesterday I was blessed to meet and volunteer with Wade the founder of Fresh Step Laundry at Frederick High for the New Horizons Summer Academy students! I can’t say enough about the positive impact his nonprofit is having in our community. Their mission is to help restore dignity and hope to the unhoused community by providing free, accessible, and hygienic laundry.

We will continue collecting snacks until Thursday evening and then we will organize and get packed up for Friday’s event, Songs of Hope, at Keys Stadium.

Sunday celebrations!
The snacks are stacking up for our 96 Summer Snack Bags! Thank you so much for all the donations that have come in so far. We appreciate every single one. The Summer Snack Bags will be assembled Friday June 26th at an event at the Keys Stadium by children attending the event. Love this! Then they will be distributed in the middle of July to students experiencing housing insecurity.
We will be taking donations until Friday for the Summer Snack Bags.
See prior post for snacks we are collecting.

Happy Friday!
In 1 week we will be attending Songs of Hope at Keys Stadium. This resource event is hosting nonprofits to share their missions and have interactive volunteer activities for children! It is open to the public. We have been brainstorming and have the perfect activity that will benefit 90+ high school students experiencing housing insecurity. Details about what Autumns Table is up to in July with these 90+ students will come soon…it’s going to be awesome!

Our activity next Friday at Songs of Hope will be making 90+SUMMER SNACK BAGS for local high school students experiencing housing insecurity.

What I need help with…
GRANOLA BARS
RAMEN NOODLES
CRACKERS
PRETZELS
FRUIT SNACKS

ANYTHING THAT A HIGH SCHOOLER WOULD LIKE AND WILL EASILY PACK IN A 1 GALLON ZIPLOC BAG!
