It has been functioning in recognition position right from 1952 to till 2003. since then the union has been standing on firm footing due to its good deeds and innumerable achievements during its long tenure(69 years). dit Prem Kumar, Pandit Narenderji, Vasudeva Naik, T.Govind Singh , Sarfaraz Shariff etc. Our union has built a healthy trade union movement in MCH basing on Gandhian Philosophy and under the guidance of INTUC, the biggest trade union centre in our country. Our union has succeeded in brining the gap between the officers and employees.After the demise of Sarfaraz Shariff our union was lucky enough to get the able leader of Sri G.SANJEEVA REDDY Garu, a trade union leader of international stature and national President of INTUC. For the last 30 years he has been serving to our union as its president.He has given a remarkable shape to our union by introducing altogether new norms in the trade union movement for maintenance of peace in MCH and good relation with management. He used this desirable conditions to benefit the workers and employees, by achieving their demands and fulfilling their interest.It is everyone's knowledge that our city got "Clean City" award for four times continuously and achieved sound financial position due to the support of our union to the reforms undertaken by MCH. For this, our union got praise and appreciation of not only management, but also from all other quarters. our union's working President Sri MASOOM SHARIFF garu, followed the footsteps of great trade union leader Sri G.SANJEEVA REDDY garu,denied the promotions he got and has been serving the workers and employees by solving each and every problem through discussions with management. He has strengthened union's financial position and got good name from the workers and employees and as well as from the management. The young blood is injects into the union in the form of Sri Adil Shariff garu ,Trade Union Activist and President INTUC, Hyderabad in the year 2007. He has been serving the workers and employees by solving each and every problem in a militant way and with a positive approach. Shri Adil Shariff, Elected as Working President, MSMU in the General Body meeting in 2019. He has joined union in the year 2013, as Head Office secretary of GHMC.After thorough discussions and deliberation, unanimously resolved to form SC & ST Committee within the union in the year 2015,for fighting for the rights, dignity and respect of SC,ST employees of GHMC. Shri K.Shiva kumar, is serving the members as Addln General Secretary of MSMU, INTUC.The union also have women committee within the union structure. Every 3 years union encourages and select the leader of the committee's, to provide them and participate in the trade union program at National & International level.
