I'm behind on making this post, but wanted to give a shoutout to our MVP players from this past weekends pool games. This weekend's tournament the opposing coaches picked the MVPs rather than the umpires, like we have seen in past tournaments.

Pool game 1 MVP went to Emerson Edgar. Emmie had a diving play at 3rd, where she knocked down the ball to save extra bases. She almost had another one back to back. She then went and caught an inning and assisted with an out at home on a past ball relayed to the plate for the caught stealing. Emerson went on to have another hard stop at third in our next game. She was lights out defensively this past weekend, while also having a few nice line drives to the outfield on offense.

Pool game 2 MVP went to Kinsley Ramirez. Kinsley pitched another No-hitter securing 7 strikeouts (including her career 100th). She gave up no hits, no walks and no Earned runs. She went on to strike out 14 total on the weekend, giving up only 3 hits and 2 walks.

Wasn't our best outing this weekend, but we know exactly what we need to work on to come back stronger next weekend.

Big birthday shoutout for 24!
Happy Birthday Emerson! Way to ball out this weekend for your birthday.

🩵🖤We finished pool play 1-1 today, and these girls showed us what it means to FIGHT until the very end! 🥎🔥
In our first pool game, the girls were making a comeback, chipping away and fighting their way back into it, but unfortunately, we ran out of time before we could finish the job. 💪🏼 Sometimes the clock just isn’t on your side, but the fight these girls showed was undeniable!
In our second pool game, these girls came out ready to compete! We took the lead in the 2nd inning and NEVER LET UP! 🔥 That’s the fight, determination, and never-quit mentality we love to see!
Now it’s time to reset, refocus, and get ready because BRACKET PLAY STARTS TOMORROW! 🩵🖤
A new day, a fresh opportunity, and another chance to show what Powerhouse Ramirez is made of!
ONE TEAM. ONE GOAL. ALL IN. LET’S GO, POWERHOUSE! 💥🥎

💗🥎 🩵This weekend, Powerhouse Ramirez is headed to Brownwood for our CTX Pink Out Tournament!🩵💗

This weekend, we’ll wear our pink with pride as we play for something bigger than the game. Breast cancer has touched so many lives, families, and communities, and this weekend is a reminder that softball is about more than wins and losses. It’s about raising awareness, honoring fighters, remembering those we’ve lost, and standing alongside those still fighting. 🎀

At the end of the day, the scoreboard will fade, but the impact we make and the causes we stand for matter far beyond the field. 💕

Play for a purpose. Play for the fighters. Play for the survivors. Play for those we carry in our hearts.💗

Happy National Coaches day to our amazing Coaches!
A huge thank you to my amazing assistant coaches! Your knowledge, dedication, support, and positive impact mean more than you know. You not only help make our girls better softball players, but you help build their confidence, teach them to work hard, and remind them to believe in themselves.
I’m incredibly grateful for everything you bring to our team—and personally, for the support you’ve given me along the way. Coaching is so much better with the right people beside you. Thank you for being those people! 🥎🩵
We appreciate you more than words can say!

🔥 WHAT. A. WEEKEND. 🔥
6-1 ON THE WEEKEND. We are top bracket CHAMPIONS! 🏆
The girls battled through every game, competed together, and finished the weekend by WINNING THE TOP BRACKET!💪🏼🥎

📊 TEAM OFFENSE
• .434 team batting average
• 4 kiddos batting over .400
• Outscored our opponents 41-25.
• And a HUGE shoutout to Lively for an absolutely WILD weekend at the plate! 🤯🔥

Lively batted .917 for the weekend!
YES… .917 BATTING AVERAGE! 😳

She finished with 11 hits, including 6 extra-base hits and 3 INSIDE-THE-PARK HOME RUNS!🏃‍♀️💨💣

🔥 TEAM PITCHING
Our pitching staff finished with a 7.714 ERA, and all 5 of our pitchers got some time in the circle this weekend!

And then there was Kinsley.👀🔥

Kinsley took the bulk of the pitching duties Sunday and came out absolutely ON FIRE.🔥

🥎 29 strikeouts
🥎 Only 3 hits allowed ALL WEEKEND
🥎 3.789 ERA
🥎 2 NO-HITTERS— one in the semifinals and one in the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!🏆

But as incredible as the numbers are, what makes this team special is that everyone contributed.❤️

We had girls coming up with HUGE hits, making big defensive plays, battling through tough at-bats, making big outs when we needed them, and picking each other up every step of the way. We never let the errors, missed calls, or heat get us down! The girls found a way each time!!

Couldn’t be prouder of this group. They battled, they believed, and they did it TOGETHER.

WAY TO GO, GIRLS! 🥎🩵🖤
