What a WEEKEND for these girls! 🥎🩵🖤
We went 1-2 today in bracket play, earning us 3rd place and falling just short of a championship appearance in the top bracket. We finished the weekend 2-4 overall, but let me be very clear… that record does NOT tell the story of how well these girls played.
And WOW… IT. WAS. HOT. 🥵☀️
Despite the heat, tough competition, and going up against multiple 2nd-year teams, these girls continued to battle, compete, and show just how much they are growing.
We finished the weekend with a .327 TEAM BATTING AVERAGE! 🤯

🥎 24 strikeouts — a little higher than we'd like, but absolutely understandable for such a young team battling against experienced 2nd-year teams.
These numbers don't just represent stats. They represent girls stepping into the box, trusting themselves, taking pitches, running the bases, fighting through at-bats, and refusing to give up.
And we HAVE to recognize our 3 Game MVPs! 🏆
⭐ GAME 1 MVP — Sawyer
Sawyer came up HUGE in Game 1! She recorded the only hit between BOTH teams, drove in an RBI, and later came around to score herself. When the offense was struggling to get going, Sawyer found a way to make something happen. Talk about making your opportunity count! 👏🏼🔥
⭐ GAME 2 MVP — Brielynn
Brielynn made a BIG defensive play at 3rd for an important out and also came through with one of only two hits our team had in the game. She showed up when we needed her and made an impact on both sides of the ball! 💪🏼🥎
⭐ GAME 3 MVP — Kinsley
Kinsley was a STUD behind the plate, putting in the work defensively while also reaching base in both of her at-bats — one hit and one walk — and coming around to score a run! She was locked in and doing whatever the team needed from her. 🧱🔥
Three games. Three MVPs. Three girls stepping up when their team needed them most. ❤️
And I can't finish this recap without giving a HUGE shoutout to our pickups, Teagan and Reagan! 🫶🏼
With us being down some players AND coaches due to a funeral, these two girls stepped in and helped us tremendously. Thank you, Teagan and Reagan, for showing up and helping our team when we needed you! You both absolutely KILLED IT at the plate and on defense, and we are so grateful you were willing to jump in and battle with us this weekend! 🩵🖤
⭐ Reagan deserves a special shoutout for throwing TWO COMPLETE GAMES, including a no hitter complete game SHUTOUT of 10 strikeouts and 2 walks that we won 5-0. The other a no hitter with 5 strikeouts and 6 walks, that we lost 4-2 after a few errors. 🔥 She also finished the weekend batting an incredible .600! Talk about doing it all for your team!
⭐ Teagan came up with a MONSTER DOUBLE in our 3rd pool game yesterday and played solid defense all weekend long. She brought energy, toughness, and a willingness to help wherever we needed her. 💪🏼
To every single girl on this team — I am SO proud of you.
The record may say 2-4, but I see so much more than that.
I see girls who fought through the heat.
I see girls who battled against older, more experienced teams.
I see girls who stepped up for each other.
I see girls who kept swinging.
I see girls learning to trust themselves.
I see a team that is getting better every single time they step on the field.
The wins will come. The experience is being built. And this team is just getting started. 🔥
