The Lexington Lions Branch Club is proud to support the Lexington Lions Club at the Bluegrass Fair! 🎡🦁

Several of our members have been volunteering at the fair, helping welcome guests and support one of Lexington’s favorite summer traditions. We love opportunities to give back to our community while helping create a fun experience for families and friends.

🧗Join us in Muir Valley to ROCK THE WALL! Located in Kentucky’s beautiful Red River Gorge, this exciting event will feature rock climbing with trained adaptive climbing staff from Catalyst sports, plus time to explore the valley’s hiking trails. We’re grateful for the support of Muir Valley’s JEDI grant for helping us put this event into action.

🌟 Lion Spotlight: Christiana Gage 🌟

This week, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Lion Christi Gage, a dedicated member of Lions Clubs International who truly lives out the motto We Serve.

Christi has been a Lion for 4 years, inspired by the Lions’ long-standing commitment to supporting the blind and visually impaired community. Wanting to continue serving this population, and to be part of something bigger than herself, Christi found her home in Lions.

Within the club, Christi currently serves as Branch Secretary and LEO Advisor, helping guide and mentor future leaders while keeping service efforts running smoothly.

When it comes to favorite service projects, Christi can’t choose just one! Her top picks are the Polar Plunge and the Lonnie Bedwell event, both offering meaningful impact alongside fun, connection, and inspiration. She especially enjoys the networking, the energy, and the chance to share joy through bold stunts and powerful stories.

Christi is most passionate about providing any and all services possible to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. She also loves projects with a fun twist (like the ) because they motivate others (especially her LEOs!) to give back in ways that are both engaging and impactful.

To Christi, We Serve means having the motivation, drive, and purpose to help those in need. Through acts of kindness, she believes Lions are spreading joy, and that’s something the world can always use more of.
