Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting story time with Ms. Carter’s kindergarten class at West End School all-girls school! 💕 We read Thank You, Omu! by Oge Mora — a beautifully illustrated story about generosity, community, and the power of sharing. 🌟
Our conversation flowed into how we can support each other, our communities, and ourselves — just like Omu! 🥰 We also added a few new books to their classroom library and can’t wait to return next week to help them decorate pumpkins! 🎃📖
Representation matters — and so do stories that show the heart, kindness, and community found in us all. 💛

Today we had the absolute pleasure of vending at ’s A Race for Justice event! In honor of Breonna Taylor, our community came together—to sprint, to relay, to gather, to love, and to remember a life taken far too soon.

We hosted a story time and, of course, handed out free books! Huge thanks to and for always keeping our collection fresh and relevant. Special shoutout to and a generous private donor for helping us purchase copies of Freedom, We Sing by , which we read aloud and gifted to families.

Between the people, the power, and the production—we were truly blown away. It was an honor to be part of something so meaningful, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

We’re excited for tomorrow!!!!
