‼️Inclement Weather Update‼️

Due to the condition of the roadways, Town Hall will be closed today, Wednesday, January 22.

Parks in the Town of Lexington are also closed.

Garbage pickup is delayed a day and the schedule will be as follows:
Wednesday route ➡️ Thursday
Thursday route ➡️ Friday
Friday route ➡️ Saturday

Our Transportation Department continues to work alongside SCDOT and County of Lexington, SC crews to treat roadways.

The Lexington Police Department continues to patrol the area and respond to calls and asks that if you don't have to get out, please refrain from doing so.

TRAFFIC ALERT - As you plan your morning commute through the Town of Lexington, SC, if you have to go out, avoid these roadways until they have been de-iced:

- Industrial Drive
- Old Cherokee Road near North Lake Drive
- Harmon Street
- Corley Mill Road near RBHS

The Town of Lexington Transportation Department continues to clear roadways throughout town.

As temperatures continue to plunge, RADIUS Church - White Knoll has opened a temporary warming center that will be open the rest of this week.

They are also asking for donations of some items to be used at the warming center. They ask to please drop them off at RADIUS White Knoll in the bin outside the gym entrance. The primary items needed are:
Snacks
Coffee
Coffee filters
Clorox wipes
Lysol spray
Laundry soap and laundry sanitizer
Bleach spray
