Beyond The field with Philip Manga brought to you by little Caesars pizza Little Caesars Emanuel: From Intern to ownership.
-
Emanuel’s journey from intern to manager is a testimony to diligence, stewardship, and service. From building a business with his brother to helping repair the B2B bus when we needed it, he shows what it means to use one’s gifts for the good of others. At B2B, we believe soccer is only the instrument; our aim is to form young people who work faithfully, serve humbly, and lead responsibly. Emanuel is a living example of that mission: .” One body, one Team , Many members”

🎓Graduate Spotlight: Emanuel — From Adversity to Ownership-
He joined our program as a young student, and along the way, life tested him and his family in ways no young person should have to experience.
-
Emanuel’s journey reflects perseverance through adversity. After his family endured a devastating house fire, he continued his education and remained committed to the Box2Box community. When our buss broke down, he was our go to guy! His graduation represents more than academic completion; it is evidence of disciplined endurance and the formation of character through hardship.

His story now extends into vocation. Beginning as an intern, Emanuel learned the value of work, service, and responsibility; today, he has graduated, opened a shop alongside his brother, and stepped into management. His journey illustrates a simple principle: adversity need not determine one’s future when perseverance, responsibility, and purposeful work shape the path forward.More to come on Emanuel… 🎓🍕

A special-edition collaboration with Little Caesars Pizza is on the way. ❤️

Graduate Spotlight: Samweli +Student Assistant Coach class of 20255 - Mr. Prolific 🫱🏾‍🫲🏿

Samweli could have simply graduated and moved on, but he chose to stay, give back, and invest in the community that invested in him. Through his love of the game and his role as a Student Assistant Coach, he became a big brother to many of our students..someone they could lean on, trust, and turn to when things got tough. Samweli played a major role in the development of our program and teams, using his experience to mentor, encourage, and help the next generation grow. Favor Artist : NIPSEY HUSSLE

Like Ivan, Samweli missed two years of high school soccer, a journey that could have broken many, but never broke his spirit. He kept going, graduated, enrolled at a local college, continues to care for his family, and still makes time to give back. That is what we wanted to recognize: not only what Samweli overcame, but who he became through it. His story is a powerful example of the Box2Box mission keep going, become a leader, and then reach back to help someone else find their way.💪🏽💪🏽 ❤️

🎓 Graduate Spotlight: The Book of Ivan

A Brave Leader, Lafayette Varsity Player & Box2Box Keynote Speaker.

“If you can’t cover a large area, you need to position yourself well, and that’s pure intelligence.”

Ivan was one of the bravest students to come through Box2Box. As a Lafayette varsity soccer player, he was very patient for his opportunity. With us at B2B , he wasn’t always the strongest or fastest, but he used his intelligence, positioning, anticipation, and understanding of the game to make an impact which sometime was very annoying to his friends because he can outthink the game! 😅🫱🏾‍🫲🏿

His leadership went beyond the field. Ivan became a keynote speaker at our annual Box2Box fundraiser at Spy Coast Farm , sharing his journey and inspiring others with his courage and determination.

As an immigrant, his documentation status closed doors and cost him opportunities.. including the chance to play an additional year of high school soccer and B2B club soccer team. But Ivan never allowed his circumstances to define him.

He kept showing up, pushing forward, and leading by example. His determination became his strength, and his courage became his leadership.

Ivan reminds us that greatness isn’t always physical. It’s how you think, how you respond to adversity, and how you refuse to let circumstances write your story.
Congrats Ivan and can’t wait to see what God has in store for you in years to come !

🎓 B2B Senior Graduate Spotlight: Ve-Nas

ۥ Letters from- Nas

“My high school journey looked a little different. I took many of my classes online, but my favorite memory was playing my final soccer season at Lafayette, where I learned the importance of teamwork and unity.

After graduation, I decided to pursue manufacturing engineering instead of continuing my soccer career because I’m excited to learn new skills and take on new challenges.

One of the talents I possess is barbering. I enjoy cutting hair and hope to continue developing that skill. Soccer also taught me to adapt, and playing with Kings Hammer gave me memories I’ll always cherish.

As I begin this next chapter, I trust God to guide my path and look forward to everything the future holds.
