My office has teamed up with CTE Career Services, Lexington, KY Parks & Recreation, and Friends for Skateparks, Lexington KY to host a fun-filled evening of games, dancing, music, and entertainment. Last week at the SkateHall in Grey Line we had a few people going around the rules and guidelines we've set in place. That resulted in 2 broken windows, one at Vintage Therapy, and another at Forage . To be able to continue skating at the Grey Line, we are going to better enforce guidelines, and in turn we need you all to please be mindful of the space we are in. There will only be skating within the area provided, if you are seen skating outside that area or if you are seen with glasses or glass bottles in the area you will be asked to leave. The windows that were damaged were paid for by Friends 4 Skate Parks not just so we could continue skating, we just did it to be accountable and take care of those who've helped our community. If we want to continue to have events like this that accountability and respect needs to be shown by all of us.
