Happy Wheels Happy Wheels is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, volunteer founded organization. The entire program is strictly funded by donations.

One day, each week throughout the year, Happy Wheels volunteers make rounds to each inpatient room with a decorated surgical cart filled with brand new books and toys. Wheels visits approximately 400 children weekly at all 3 children's hospitals in South Carolina. Each child gets to pick out one toy/book of their choice every week for the duration of their admission. They get to keep the gifts and take them home!

We want to shout a huge thank you to the Cuddle Quilters at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Irmo, SC! They hand-quilted 28 GORGEOUS blankets for our teenagers! The quality is amazing and they are just the sweetest and most caring group of women. Blankets are the most popular item on our teen shelf so we are super grateful to get these! Give them a shout-out below. 👇🏻
PS. If you live in the area and know how to quilt or want to learn, we’d be happy to connect you with this group!

Gratitude post! 📦
Yesterday, we relocated to a new storage facility for our Greenville program. We knew we would need help this time around so we called our friends at Swamp Rabbit Moving because they deliver our teddy bear toss donation every year. The owner, Chris Sweet, immediately offered anything we needed for NO CHARGE! The 3 guys pictured here were prompt, efficient, kind, engaging and it was a joy to spend the day with them. Thank you for helping us in the most generous way!

You guys are THE BEST! Thank you for these awesome baby blankets and a few more miscellaneous items for our 0-3 kids! You cannot imagine how quickly these items fly off of the Happy Wheels cart. These will go to Charleston. The last few weeks, these were our numbers of kids visited JUST at MUSC Children’s Health : 153, 143, 158, 140. It’s enormous and the need is great so thank you! For the 12th year in a row, you showed up for Happy Wheels through Midlands Gives — and once again, we are completely overwhelmed with gratitude.

When the final numbers came in, we were truly speechless. Year after year, your generosity leaves us in awe, but this year was something extraordinary. The love you continue to show our Happy Wheels kids and families means more than words can express.

We hope each and every one of you feels proud of what was accomplished, because YOU made this happen! Every donation, every share, every encouraging word helped create something bigger than all of us.

Because of you, children facing hospital stays, treatments, and unimaginable challenges will continue to experience moments of joy, comfort, and hope when they need it most.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our mission and for standing beside us through this event for 12 incredible years. We are endlessly grateful and remain committed to serving our Happy Wheels families with everything we have.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
