Megan has been dreaming of making a dress all her own and couldn’t wait to turn this dream into reality. She measured, cut, followed a pattern and confidently used a sewing machine to turn her vision into a beautiful, one-of-a-kind creation. She is so proud of her hard work and perseverance and so are we—amazing work, Megan!

Today our faculty and staff gathered for our annual orientation in preparation for the year ahead. We were honored to welcome Maria Mossaides, the recently retired Massachusetts Child Advocate, as our keynote speaker. Maria shared how returning to her "why" sustained her throughout a remarkable career of advocating for children, even when faced with significant challenges. Her message inspired this year's professional development theme, "Investing in Your Why." Throughout the year, our staff will reflect on the purpose that brought them to this work while continuing to grow professionally and deepen the meaningful experiences we create for our students. A heartfelt thanks to Maria for uplifting us, for her incredible career and for the investments she has made to serve the most vulnerable students and families in our communities.

Ms. Hassett’s Capstone students had fun playing Family Portraits, a physical improv warm-up, working together to build a silent, frozen "snapshot" of an unusual family based on a fun prompt!
