Charles is adjusting and thriving. June 14 was a lovely celebration. This picture is with a man that lived beside his family growing up for 20 years.

Freedom for Charles McNeair has been a long time coming, but finally here. We chose to wait to announce his parole until it actually happened. That day is today! The lock was turned, the gate opened, and he stepped outside the wire fence this morning, after 47 long years. Charles now gets to experience freedom for the first time in his adult life.
We appreciate all supporters, family and friends on this page who have worked seeking justice for that young 16 year old teen from 1979. Thank you. Charles sends his appreciation! We ask that you continue sending him love, light, positive thoughts and prayers as he navigates his new life.
Charles is now home with his family and our support shifts to providing him privacy to live a normal life. We hope to have a celebration after Charles has some time to settle in.
Thank you all!

Charles McNeair is a good man. Our friend.
