Our youth's safety and security are at stake these days.

Truth: Online predators rarely start with obvious or alarming behavior. Many spend weeks or even months building trust, creating a friendship, and gradually asking for personal information, photos, or secrecy.

Grooming is a process, not a single conversation. That's why ongoing conversations about online safety and open communication at home are so important.

Don't be a Marge... teach kids that not everyone online is who they say they are.

RED Flags: know them. Don't overlook behaviors; don't second-guess yourself or hope things will change.

Domestic violence can include many different behaviors that abusers use to control their partners, and some might be harder to recognize than others.

Being aware of these and other "red flags" helps us all build stronger communities:

🚩 They can help victims and survivors find language and support for what they're experiencing.

🚩 They can help concerned friends and loved ones start a conversation with someone they're worried about.

🚩 They can even help us all see and call out harmful messages in the media, in the headlines, and in pop culture.
