🌟 Calling all parents of 3-5 year olds! 🌟
Do you have a little one who isn’t currently enrolled in Kindergarten? We’d love for you to join us for The Magical Night of Preschool on September 17th from 5:30-7:00 PM at Lewisburg School!

This will be a fun and informative evening, and we can't wait to see you there!

If you plan to volunteer or chaperone (field trips, helping with bookfair, etc.) and have not yet completed a volunteer training session, you will need to attend one of the upcoming training sessions. This training is a one-time requirement. The first training is this Tuesday (August 27th) at 5:30.

🎄✨ 40 students participated in Christmas in July this year! A heartfelt thank you to all the churches, families, small groups and individuals who contributed backpacks, clothes, shoes, and more. Your generosity is truly appreciated and makes a significant difference in the lives of these students. Your kindness does not go unnoticed! 🌟🙌

📣 Attention! If you applied for Christmas in July for your student, please be on the lookout. Their backpacks will be delivered to their homerooms tomorrow! 🎒

Parents,
School is almost starting and I want to ask you a favor… Sit down with your child for 5 minutes and explain that there is no reason to make fun of someone for being tall, short, chubby, skinny, black, white or hispanic. Autistic, etc. There's nothing wrong with wearing the same shoes 👞 👟 every day… even the same shirt more than one day .. Explain to them that a used backpack 🎒 carries the same dreams as a new one. Please teach them not to exclude anyone for "being different" or not having the same possibilities as another. Explain to them that teasing hurts... and that school is for going to LEARN, NOT to compete ❤️ You and I are worth the same!!!! Education starts at home‼️ I have seen the most compassion, love and acceptance from students in every grade level…… But please never stop teaching the importance of this.
