The 2026 Camp Guide is available and registration is open. Below is important information about Early Bird discounts when registering before Feb. 1, 2026. Founders" Campership Fund is ready to assist Scouts from Riverside United Service Unit who want to go to camp next summer. Our Campership applications will be available in early February. As always we recommend applying for financial aid from the Girl Scout Council first.

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday. Visit our website at the link below to make an online donation. For 26 years we have been assisting Girl Scouts of the Riverside United Service Unit who want to go to summer Girl Scout camp. Last year we assisted 17 Scouts with partial or full camperships. We hope to assist more Scouts in 2026. Our goal on Giving Tuesday is to raise $600 which is the average cost of one week at camp. Every cent donated benefits the Girl Scouts of the Bristol, Croydon and Levittown communities. Two early donations totaling $150 got us started. Just $450 needed to meet our goal! Thanks in advance for your generosity!

It is the day before Thanksgiving, and I am thankful for all who support the Founders' Campership Fund, and all the Girl Scout Leaders who give their time to their troops.

Tuesday, Dec. 2nd is Giving Tuesday. The goal this year is to raise $600 as that is the average cost of one week at Girl Scout camp. This year our website is back up and donations can be made online. Go to the link below for information.

The Campership Fund is made possible by the generosity of the community. All donations are appreciated. You can choose to sponsor one girl or your donation can be put into the general fund. Donations are tax deductible and eligible for corporate matching gift programs as we are a 501(c)3

I just learned that one of our dedicated donors passed away today. Eddie Fluke was a true friend of Girl Scouts. She was one of the old timers and knew Katherine MacDonald and Peg Potterton. Her donation this year included a note that she hoped it would benefit Girl Scouts in Croydon. Two girls received camperships from her donation. Eddie will be missed but she will be remembered for her kindness always.

Last week 5 Troops held their Awards and Bridging ceremonies to close out the year. Scouts who received Camperships were presented with a certificate and a journal to record their camp adventures. 15 of the 17 Campership recipients were in attendance. We thank all of the donors who have made the camperships possible.

Girl Scouts are starting to think about summer camp. This year there is only on discount period for the GSEP camps. The $50 discount ends on January 15, so register now to save some cash.
