I wanted to say thank you to the 16 teams who came out to play in the golf tournament yesterday. I saw so many laughs and groups having so much fun! Our tournament wouldn't be successful without all of you playing in it.
A big thank you to Thea Davis and the crew at Hermon Meadow Golf Course for all of your help and expertise. Without all of you our tournament wouldn't be as successful as it is.
A big thank you to UMaine Athletics, Desert of Maine, Moe's BBQ and Portland Sea Dogs for the donations of wonderful prizes for the top 3 teams!
Thank you to The Sports Arena, Governor's, Miguel's and Bangor Lettershop for the donation of prizes for our games.
A big thank you to Joel from Bangor Lettershop for all of his work preparing the signs for the tournament. It sure is a lot of work!
A big thank you to our board members who have along side me spent the last few months planning, organizing, collecting sponsors and donations. Without all of your hard work this tournament wouldn't happen.
A big thank you to all sponsors and those business that donated for the silent auction. Without you we wouldn't have the success we have.
A big shout out to Dewey and the crew at Moe's BBQ for the amazing food prepared for the tournament yesterday. There were some full bellies leaving the tournament yesterday!
Thank you to Ron Hawkes Photography for snapping amazing pictures of the teams yesterday. I know it wasn't easy.
Thank you to my mom and Trent for helping fill all those goodie bags and running errands with me this week. I couldn't have done it all without you.
Thank you to Kristen Bagley for all of your help selling the 50/50 tickets.
I have already booked next year's tournament for Saturday October 2, 2027. I can't wait to see you all again.
I want to lastly thank Brady in Heaven for listening to me asking him to make sure the weather was great for the day. He definitely listened and came through❤️
I don't have a grand total yet but it was quite the successful day.
