Dixie Roots Paranormal We are a father/daughter team that got interested in the paranormal while watching Ghost Hunters. Our first investigation was at the Thomas House.

That sold us when we witnessed things that couldn’t be explained and the quest continues!

Not only did this apparition go down but it came back. I added a red high light to make it more visible. By the way, it was so dark we could only see about 5 feet out. Thank goodness for IR light.

The jacket or garment puts me in mind of the old Duster jackets. if you look toward the bottom it appears to flip open.

Amy and I are in the Brushy gym setting out cat balls when something appears (unseen by us) on the left. I noticed that the figure had a long garment/coat on. This was interesting because it wasn't that cold. We only had on hoodies. We did our due diligence though, as there was only 12 people in the facility that night and while we knew no one had on a long coat, we reviewed all the video footage until we accounted for everyone. None had on a long coat. looks like we caught an apparition walking by.

Still in the area of the Hole while the orb appeared and the cat ball went off, I ask, "are you and inmate" and get a faint yes reply in a deep voice.

Not long after the Orb was seen in the "Hole" a cat ball went of that was on the stars.

We are just outside of the "Hole" at Brushy. While I generally don't do much with orbs, this one was intriguing. It was about 40 degrees or so which is generally too cold for insects to fly. Thoughts?

Another from Brushy. We enter the cell block from outside. I say Hello and following that you hear several voices hello. some I can make out like "Cell Block 13"

Staying in the cell block at Brushy you can hear a cell door slam right before you hear the thunder.

Something from A place we will soon be going back to, Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary. I will be posting some of the things we caught the last time we were there.

In this first clip we are coming out of the cafeteria on the second floor. When I took a few steps into the cell block, I heard a disembodied voice. At the time I thought it was Amy. After reviewing the footage, I found a friendly sole saying Hello to me.
