The basement was warm and cozy today and we got a lot done. Marge and Connie made some good bucks for the group’s treasury by demonstrating rosemaling at Fosston’s Heritage Days. Fall might be here, so how about learning a new craft to busy yourself on wintry days? We meet at Good Shepherd in Clearbrook next Monday at 9:00 am. See you there.

We had a wonderful potluck lunch today including baked beans in a bean pot, cole slaw, pulled pork, tuna pasta salad….. just a nice day spent talking with good friends. We enjoyed the fair but we are kinda glad it’s over.

We were busy at our building at the Clearwater County Fair all week. We run the Scandinavian Building and fill it with samples of our work. We had lots of visitors who gave us lots of compliments and bought tickets for the little table we raffled off. The table was painted by Rose Erickson and Jane Bellefy and was won by Alyssa Bates. I’ll post a video of the building’s contents below.
