We are looking for someone with construction or handyman experience who would be willing to come out with me to a veteran’s home and take a look at a situation involving a floor joist that may need to be raised, along with assessing what else we can do to help improve the safety of the home.

This is a veteran who could truly use a helping hand, and even just an evaluation or advice would mean a lot. If you have experience with floor joists, framing, or general home repairs, and are willing to donate some time, please reach out.

If you can’t help in person, sharing this post can still make a big difference.

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand behind our veterans and support our mission.

🚨 URGENT: HELP A VETERAN STAY HOUSED TONIGHT 🚨

This evening, we are working hard to raise funds to help a local veteran keep his home. He currently owes $955 in rent, but the landlord has agreed that $700 paid by tonight will allow him to stay.

This veteran has served our country and is now facing the fear of losing his place to live. No one who served should have to worry about being homeless—especially when a small community effort can make a big difference.

Every dollar helps. If you’re able to donate or share this post, you are directly helping a veteran stay safe and housed tonight.

Please consider giving, sharing, and keeping this veteran in your prayers.
Together, we can step up when it matters most. 🇺🇸❤️

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission and our veterans.

Our nonprofit is currently seeking donations to help with two important needs:

• we have six 20 -lb propane tanks to refill to support our outreach efforts, provide warmth, and a way to cook if loss of power.
• A tire replacement for a veteran in need so they can safely get back on the road and have a way to pay bills. Dm if intrested

Every donation—big or small—makes a real difference. If you’re able to help financially, donate supplies, or know a business or individual willing to assist, please reach out to us directly.

We are beyond thankful for a community that continues to stand behind our veterans and our mission. Together, we can make sure no veteran is left struggling alone.

Thank you all for your continued support.

⚖️ 27 Years of Legal Experience
I have represented Arkansans from every walk of life. I have handled cases in Circuit Court ranging from family law matters to complex civil litigation valued at over $40 million. I have stood beside people during some of the hardest moments of their lives, and fought to ensure they were heard. I worked for the federal trial court for two years, prosecuted in district court for over a decade, and have represented cities, fire departments, cemetery boards and many others in my career.

This broad experience gives me a deep understanding of the challenges families, businesses, and communities face in our courts. It is experience I bring with me every day on the bench.

Vote for Circuit Judge Margaret Dobson on March 3. Early voting starts February 17!

If Congress passed the Major Richard Star Act, more than 54,000 combat-injured veterans would finally receive the full benefits they earned through service and sacrifice.

Right now, veterans medically retired due to combat-related injuries are forced to forfeit a portion of their military retirement pay because it’s offset dollar-for-dollar by VA disability compensation. This so-called “wounded veteran tax” unfairly penalizes those who gave the most.

Military retirement pay honors years of service. VA disability compensation addresses the lifelong impact of service-connected injuries. They serve different purposes — and veterans shouldn’t have to choose between them.

The Major Richard Star Act (H.R. 2102 / S. 1032) corrects this injustice and supports a too-often overlooked group: veterans medically retired before 20 years of service due to combat or combat-related injuries.

This is simple fairness. Congress must act.
