Had a fantastic Veterans Day at Lemmon School District! 🎖️ Our Auxiliary handed out poppies, veteran tags, and chocolate bars. After the program, veterans enjoyed roast beef sandwiches, macaroni salad, chips, and bars. Delicious food and an awesome turnout—thank you to all who came to honor our heroes! 🇺🇸

The Lemmon Veterans of Foreign Wars #2969 and Auxiliary are seeking new members. Attend the Informational Membership Event on Wednesday, Nov. 5th at 6:30pm in the EMT meeting room. (Age to become an Auxiliary member is now 16. If you have a child or grandchild 16 or older this would be a great time to gift them a Lifetime membership! Yes, many are busy and might not be involved right now but you are ensuring with a lifetime membership that forever the Veteran he/she joins under and others are always a priority in our country, because each membership person is a voice in our country's veteran issues in the U.S. Congress. Halloween Volunteers for Truck-or-Treating at Five Counties Nursing Home

The Hospital Committee has requested assistance with the Nursing Home Halloween project. If you can volunteer your services on Friday, Oct. 31st it would be greatly appreciated. The event starts at about 4:00pm so would appreciate volunteers being at the Nursing Home by 3:00pm. If you have someone that would like to come with you and help --that would be great! Lori Daley is Chairperson of this event. If you have any questions contact her at (701) 260-9296

Note: This year the Trunk-or-Treat will be held on the street in front of Five Counties Nursing Home.

On October 13, 1775, the Continental Congress created the Continental Navy to stand against British sea control — and from those humble beginnings with just two armed vessels, a legacy was born.
Today, 250 years later, the United States Navy stands as the most powerful and advanced maritime force in the world — a symbol of strength, honor, and freedom.
To all who have worn the uniform, served at sea, or supported from shore — we thank you. Your courage and sacrifice continue to protect the freedoms we hold dear.

Those we lost September 11, 2001, will forever hold a cherished place in our hearts and in the history of our nation. By a joint resolution approved December 18, 2001, (Public Law 107-89), Congress authorized the President to designate September 11 of each year as “Patriot Day” to perpetuate the memory of those who perished in the attack on America, and to pursue peace and justice in the world and security at home.

What an incredible Friday night Rodeo honoring our military during Red Shirt Friday! We proudly handed out 243 American flags, with 50 featuring Buddy Poppies as a special tribute.

The turnout was fantastic, and it was heartwarming to see our community come together to celebrate and spread patriotism. Thank you to everyone who showed up and wore red in support of our service members! ❤️🤍💙
