Congrats to our Pup Tent's own, Seam Squirrel Mike Jeffery on his election as Hide Gimlet and Blanket Bum Raymond H Delpesche on his re-election as Sky Pilot for the Grand of Virginia at the Department Convention last weekend. We look forward to seeing the impact you two will make on the Grand.

Another Cootie Bingo in the books! Thank you to our wonderful comrades at Western Prince William County VFW Post 12218 for donating $150 to help us provide a lunch to veterans at Martinsburg VA Clinic. Thank you to VFW Post 1177 for donating drinks and dollar cards to help support the bingo event!

The crowd enjoyed a sandwich, cookies, chips, and a drink!

Excellent day today partnering up with VFW Post 1177, MOC Pup Tent 17 Lee-Si-Bugs, and the VA Martinsburg Clinic volunteers to support veterans through Sweats For Vets!

If you like the stats on how this program runs in the small footprint:

📌 It took 60+ volunteers to pack the sweats into sets so it’s easier to pass out to the veterans.
📌 The Clinic received 1400+ sweats feom different partnerships including a few sweats from our Post. There is enough sweats to keep on hand to pass along throughout the year to homeless veterans.
📌 The Clinic received just under $6,000 in cash donations through several donors including the Knights Of Columbus partnership.

In Memoriam Supreme Commander Eric S. Bell
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Supreme Commander Eric S. Bell, who departed peacefully in his sleep on January 19, 2026.

Eric was not only a dedicated leader but also a devoted family man. His kindness and service touched lives all over the world, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Eric is survived by his wife, Kathleen, and their teenage son. We ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

IAW the Bylaws of the MOC, dated 2 Aug 2024, Section 528, Tracy Woodman, the Supreme Senior Vice-Commander shall at once succeed the duties and title as the Supreme Commander. Ronnie Steel, the Supreme Junior Vice-Commander is now the Supreme Senior Vice-Commander.
