Cyber Colonels Team 1740

Cyber Colonels Team 1740 We are the Ledyard Cyber Colonels Team #1740. We were established in 2006, and since then have grown and developed. They are always looking for new members.

This year we have over thirty members on the team. In addition, there are many different groups, with different purposes and expertise. Our two largest groups are Build and Programming. Build’s purpose is to build the robot over the course of a six-week period. Programming works on creating the code to make our robot function, whether it be throwing Frisbees, climbing pyramids, or kicking soccer b

alls. Both teams are skilled in what they do and are constantly learning and developing new techniques. CAD/Animation Group works constantly to create animation videos, and digital renderings of each year’s robot. No matter what your experience is with these programs, they always appreciate help. Marketing and Fundraising works to raise awareness about our Robotics team. They also organize fundraisers and community interactions. Spirit Group is in charge of boosting moral, planning the pit design and team parties. They often assist with Marketing and Fundraising.
