The countdown is almost over!

In just 2 days, we’ll gather once again at First Baptist Lebanon for another exciting semester of Marshmelo School for the Arts!

We can’t wait to welcome returning families, meet new students, and spend the semester learning, creating, growing, and keeping Jesus center stage together.

Whether your student is acting, dancing, making music, studying God’s Word, gardening, designing games, sewing, or discovering a brand-new passion, we know God has incredible things in store this semester.

Before Thursday, be sure to:
✅ Check your most recent class schedule or the Parent Portal for classroom assignments.
✅ Review your course descriptions for any required supplies.
✅ Read through the Welcome Email for important first-day information.
✅ Look for the Marshmelo flag at the west entrance for drop-off.

Students will learn foundational sewing skills while creating fun, practical projects they can be proud of. Along the way, they'll gain confidence, develop patience, strengthen problem-solving skills, and discover the satisfaction of making something with their own hands.

Sewing is more than just a hobby—it's a lifelong skill that encourages creativity, independence, and craftsmanship.

🎭 Our Fall Productions Are Full... But the Curtain Is Still Rising! 🎭

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing response to our Fall Productions! Thanks to our returning theatre families, all production spots have been filled for How to Train Your Dragon, Jr. and The Hobbit.

But don't worry—there's still a way to get on stage this fall!

Our Thursday Stage Ready classes at First Baptist Lebanon still have openings for students who want to grow in confidence, creativity, and performance skills in a fun, Christ-centered environment.

🎭 Mini Marshmelos (Ages 6–8)
🎭 Stage Ready for Young Actors (Ages 9–12) — Now with a new 9:00 AM section!
🎭 Stage Ready I (Ages 13-18)

These classes are perfect for students who love to act, dream of being in future productions, or simply want to build confidence, communication skills, and friendships through theatre.

✨ Every student gets to perform!
🎭 Mini Marshmelos will open our Monday (11/16) and Tuesday (11/17) evening performances of How to Train Your Dragon, Jr. with their production of Stone Soup.
🌟 Stage Ready for Young Actors and Stage Ready I will take the stage at our Fall Showcase on November 14.

🎭 New Class Added! Stage Ready for Young Actors at 9:00 AM! 🎭

Great news! Due to growing interest, we've opened a new 9:00 AM section of Stage Ready for Young Actors!

Designed for ages 9–12, this class is perfect for students who love to perform—or those who simply want to build confidence in a fun, encouraging environment.

Students will:
✨ Learn acting techniques through engaging theatre games and activities.
🎭 Develop characters and perform scenes.
🎤 Strengthen voice projection, stage presence, and expressive movement.
🤝 Build teamwork, creativity, and confidence while making new friends.

Whether your student is stepping onto the stage for the first time or wants to grow as a performer, Stage Ready for Young Actors is an exciting place to learn and have fun!
