Our mission is to bridge the gap between service members and emotional healing by pairing these courageous individuals with loyal, compassionate dogs specially trained to support their unique needs. Founded with the belief that no one should face the challenges of post-service life alone, 4P4H carefully matches each recipient with an animal who can help alleviate the symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, mobility issues, and other emotional or physical challenges. We believe in the transformative power of the human-animal bond and are committed to creating life-changing partnerships that empower and restore confidence in those who have given so much for our country. Through a rigorous training program, our animals are equipped with a variety of skills—from providing emotional support to performing vital physical tasks—that allow recipients to reclaim independence, improve their quality of life, and navigate daily challenges with greater ease. With each service dog we place, we strive to honor the sacrifices of our veterans, first responders, and their families, offering unwavering support as they continue their journey toward healing and well-being.

Soldiers wanting to become members of the Military Police Corps will spend much of their advanced individual training at a mock city called the Brig. Gen. David H. Stem Training Village, commonly referred to as Stem Village. According to Sgt. 1st Class Johnathan Parish, Basic MP Training Division team leader, Stem Village is set up as a “mini garrison” to provide Soldiers with a sense of realism while training in a controlled environment. “Everything we do as MP Soldiers all starts here,” Parish said. “Since 1999, every MP Soldier who has completed AIT at Fort Leonard Wood has been through Stem Village, it’s a rite of passage.” To read more, visit https://www.army.mil/article/289355/mps_gain_realistic_training_at_stem_village.
