The Special Olympics PA Softball Tournament at In the Net has wrapped up, and while we’re sad to see it end, our hearts are full. Supporting these athletes is an honor, and being part of their journey — even in a small way — is something truly special.

A huge thank‑you to everyone from our lodge and all the family members who came out. We had an even bigger turnout this year, and every single person shared the same feeling: it’s rewarding, meaningful, and once you volunteer, you’re hooked.

Next stop: the Fall Classic in Hershey this October!

Unless your loved one puts on a badge every day, it’s hard to understand the weight of watching them walk out the door and into the unknown. You send them out knowing that, despite all the good they do, there are people who choose to villainize them simply because of the profession they serve in. Some judge them for mistakes they never made—mistakes committed by others, in other places, in other years.
Yet despite all of that, they continue to show up. They continue to answer the call to serve, protect, and stand for something bigger than themselves.

We were proud to be out today supporting the annual James Biever Memorial Run 5K. Multiple members of Lodge 42 volunteered — including Lodge Historian Underkoffler, Sgt.‑at‑Arms Rick Finicle, Aux President Underkoffler and family — along with members participating in both the 5K and 10K.

A strong showing from our lodge and community.

Team FOP 42 is participating in another year of the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run! 🔥✨

Please consider supporting our team by donating to help us reach our fundraising goal — every contribution makes a difference for these incredible athletes.

We’re also looking for runners to join us this year! If you’d like to be part of Team FOP 42, send us a message and we’ll be happy to share the link so you can sign up.

Together, we can make this year’s Torch Run our strongest yet! Help us get more donations than other surrounding law enforcement teams to show just how proud Lebanon County is of our special athletes 💙

We are so pleased about the return of the blue line football game! You already know we will be in attendance 🏈

🚔🏈 THE THIN BLUE LINE FOOTBALL GAME IS BACK! 🏈🚔
Sheriff Nick Chimienti Jr. is proud to announce the return of the "Thin Blue Line Game" , a tradition that honors the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of our fallen law enforcement officers.

📅 Friday, September 25, 2026
🕖 Kickoff: 7:00 PM
📍 Rocco Ortenzio Field – McDevitt High School
🏈 Bishop McDevitt vs. Cumberland Valley

After several years away, this special event is finally returning. We were forced to pause the game during a time when the anti-law enforcement climate made it difficult to find schools willing to host this meaningful tradition. Thankfully, times have changed, and we have received numerous requests to bring it back. Sadly, we still have a few "Keyboard Klowns" who continue with the vilification and hate speech towards law enforcement and our mission, however we are honored to once again host this incredible event.

The "Thin Blue Line Game" is much more than a football rivalry on the field. It is an opportunity for our community and the law enforcement family to stand together in remembrance of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Most importantly, it is a chance to honor and support the surviving families of our fallen officers and first responders, reminding them that their loved ones are never forgotten. Join us as we fill the stands, show our appreciation for those who protect our communities, and pay tribute to the heroes who gave everything.

💙 Mark your calendars, wear your blue, and help us make the return of the "Thin Blue Line Game" a night to remember. For this night we will all be the "The Boys of Fall."
Never Forgotten. Always Honored. 💙

Many of the heroes we rely on in our hardest moments remain nameless — not because they’re unseen, but because they move with such urgency and compassion that there’s no time for introductions. What stays with us is their presence, their steady hands, and the heart behind the uniform. We are incredibly thankful for every first responder who shows up day after day to protect and serve our communities.
