Lebanon Area Foundation joined the community at Life Point Church today to celebrate its 2026 Grant Recipients. The ceremony opened with a prayer from Pastor Kelley Rhoades.

----Best Foor Forward Update----

On July 18th we opened registration for our program. Within 48 hours we had over 600 parents apply with over 1000 children needing shoes. Unfortunately our budget could not accomodate all the kids. We did, however approve 200 children, and a few exra for a waiting list.

In On August 16th we held the event and were able to give 210 total pairs of shoes to children in our community. It was a great success. We do wish it could have been over 1000 pairs. Perhaps one day we can make that happen.

We would like to thank Shoe Sensation of Lebanon, and its awesome staff for helping us put it together. Additionally, they were able to raise funds to give each child a pack of socks to go with their shoes. They were truly a blessing to us and the kids.

I would also like to send out a special thank you to Garner & Smith Insurance for the sponsorhip, as well as our patients and those who donated to Bays Care over the last few months. We truly could not have done this without every one of you, Thank You.

BEST FOOT FORWARD ONLINE APPLICATION--PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING!

We're ready to go! The 2025 Best Foot Forward Program event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 16th at Shoe Sensation in Lebanon (1691 Southdale Drive, in the plaza with Big Lots and Harbor Freight).

This year, we will be accepting applications for participation in the Best Foot Forward Program online through the Google Form below ONLY. We will NOT be able to accept registration through Facebook Messenger. We will not be able to guarantee participation for students on the day of the event if they are not registered.

We ask that you please fill out the application to the best of your ability. This year, we will be contacting everyone with a phone call to avoid any issues with missing emails or Facebook messages. Be sure to include your most “reachable” phone number so that we can get a hold of you with all of the details. Please check your voicemail as well, as we will leave all important information in a message if we are able to do so.

If we are able to provide shoes for your students, you WILL be contacted. Please do not contact Bays Cares, Inc. unless you have not heard from a representative within 2 weeks of your application being submitted. We will have many families to contact, so we appreciate your patience!

**Please note-- registration closes Monday morning July 21st. We are going to help as many students as we can, but space and funds are limited, and the program will be first come, first served as in past years. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
