Last week I was notified about a cat that was left outside after his human moved. The pictures were awful. This grown cat was completely shut down sitting in a corner outside his house. He had nowhere to go and the only human he had probably ever known threw him out like yesterday's trash. That picture was just the beginning.

My amazing foster and friend went and picked this boy up out of the cold and took him in to his bathroom. From that moment on I vowed that this boy would never go outside again. He was so happy to be inside that he can't stop purring. His foster then sent me pictures that were awful. This boy was missing part of his face.

Tuesday night he was taken to our vet who not only neutered him but thoroughly cleaned his wounds. He then went to work with me for laser treatments and wound care. He is on several meds and has to be cleaned everyday. He purrs through everything.

Now let me introduce you to Summit. He is the best orange boy I have every meet. He let's me clean his wounds everyday and he just purrs and gives the best head butts.

He has a long road of recovery ahead of him.
