Five years ago, WEPA Empowerment Center began with a simple but powerful mission: Working to Empower People for Advancement. What started as a vision to create pathways to education, workforce development, and personal growth has become a thriving community where individuals are empowered to transform their futures.

As we celebrate this incredible milestone, we are proud to unveil a special 5th Anniversary edition of the WEPA logo. The refreshed design honors the journey that brought us here while embracing the bright future ahead. The vibrant colors reflect the diversity and strength of the people we serve. The gold accents symbolize achievement and excellence. Creating Pathways to Healthcare Careers in Lebanon County

The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program offered through the partnership between WEPA Empowerment Center/Tec Centro Lebanon and Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) continues to help individuals gain the skills, knowledge, and industry-recognized credentials needed to enter the healthcare workforce.

These photos highlight a previous cohort of CNA graduates who completed their training and celebrated their accomplishments at the Francis J. Dixon Healthcare Training Suite. Programs like this are made possible through the generous support of the Francis J. Dixon Foundation, whose investment helps expand access to career training opportunities and strengthen the local healthcare talent pipeline.

By connecting students with quality training, hands-on learning experiences, and career-focused education, this partnership is helping prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals to serve communities throughout the region.

During a special event in March, students received professional attire through the support of Dress for Success, reinforcing the importance of both career readiness and professional presentation.
