April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.

Early detection is key. It really is that simple.

Checking yourself takes less than a minute, and it could save your life. No pressure, no overthinking. Just knowing your body and speaking up if something feels off.

Testicular cancer is one of the most common cancers in men, and when it is caught early, it is highly treatable.

Take a minute today. Then share this with someone in your life. A friend, a partner, a brother.

These small conversations matter more than you think.

💜 Survivorship is a journey, not a finish line.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, in treatment, or years beyond it, it’s normal for the questions and the emotions to continue.

We created our Testicular Cancer Survivorship Guide as a supportive resource for those moments, something steady you can turn to when you need information, reassurance, or simply a place to start.

You don’t have to figure this out on your own. 💜

If this could help you or someone you care about, we invite you to explore it.

💜🖤 UPDATE(S) 🖤💜
Hey GYG Family!! Thought we would jump on for a much overdue update!!

Back in November Todd had is first follow up in Houston…..and it was impeccable 🥹 clean as a whistle, the longest he has gone in two years. And no further surgery is needed. He has had some routine maintenance on the stints in his ureters and goes in today for another switch out with our care team here at OU!! Through all of this….blood counts have increased and tumor markers have stayed undetectable. Praises 🙌🏽

In December, in true Todd fashion, he returned to work. And he has thrived since. There are not near enough thanks in the world for the countless contributions from from family, our hometown, our besties, businesses, our church families, sports families, and most importantly… Todd’s Goodyear family!! Without you all, simply put…he wouldn’t be alive.

Our deepest thanks to the Chattanooga VFD and the community for rallying behind him from the very beginning. For your encouragement and kindness to a brother. He sure misses you all!! 🚒

To the Buchan and Huddleston crews, Aunt Barbara and others for the dive in on fundraising….no words. All our heart ♥️ thank you for showering your love in action ALL over us! That’s what Jesus looks like! I hope people took notes!

Lastly, to Kylie and the patrons and crew of Hop & Sack…your generosity continued to remind us weekly we were still thought of, supported, and loved. 💙🤍(Makes ya miss home real bad)

We never could’ve made Houston happen that fast and that smoothly without you! A husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and most importantly…one of the best men one could have in their life is alive because of your kindness.

He can’t complain about his hunting season but, the short wide is another story. 😂 we return to Houston next week! And we hope to receive even more great news! Never cease praying.

No matter what.

He is our walking miracle! 🫶🏽

Our friends could use some big prayers!! Ronni posted asking for uplifting thoughts for her husband, Joey. They are a special family to us!! Our boys play ball together, husbands work in the same plant, and we both have been doing the cancer thing with our families for quite some time.

💜🖤 CANCER FREE 🖤💜
This time feels more surreal than the times before. All the work, surviving, fighting insurance, praying, pleading, screaming, crying, begging, hoping, wishing, the ups and downs, side to sides, the countless nights away from home, sleep lost, miles driven, love received and given, relocating for a few months….all worth it and oh so appreciated. Now…for Todd to keep his stamina up and climbing. He found a way to go back to work 🙄 (none of us are a bit surprised) Blessings on blessings have been bestowed upon us.

💜🖤 CHECK UP TIME 🖤💜
Tomorrow Todd travels to Houston for an 8 week follow up. Emotions are…everywhere. I think we have all felt all the things. Home has been a big comfort for him. Leaving out early in the morning. Prayers for safe travels and good time. We should have time to relax and calm nerves before a big Thursday with LOTS of appointments!
