💜🖤 UPDATE(S) 🖤💜
Hey GYG Family!! Thought we would jump on for a much overdue update!!
Back in November Todd had is first follow up in Houston…..and it was impeccable 🥹 clean as a whistle, the longest he has gone in two years. And no further surgery is needed. He has had some routine maintenance on the stints in his ureters and goes in today for another switch out with our care team here at OU!! Through all of this….blood counts have increased and tumor markers have stayed undetectable. Praises 🙌🏽
In December, in true Todd fashion, he returned to work. And he has thrived since. There are not near enough thanks in the world for the countless contributions from from family, our hometown, our besties, businesses, our church families, sports families, and most importantly… Todd’s Goodyear family!! Without you all, simply put…he wouldn’t be alive.
Our deepest thanks to the Chattanooga VFD and the community for rallying behind him from the very beginning. For your encouragement and kindness to a brother. He sure misses you all!! 🚒
To the Buchan and Huddleston crews, Aunt Barbara and others for the dive in on fundraising….no words. All our heart ♥️ thank you for showering your love in action ALL over us! That’s what Jesus looks like! I hope people took notes!
Lastly, to Kylie and the patrons and crew of Hop & Sack…your generosity continued to remind us weekly we were still thought of, supported, and loved. 💙🤍(Makes ya miss home real bad)
We never could’ve made Houston happen that fast and that smoothly without you! A husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and most importantly…one of the best men one could have in their life is alive because of your kindness.
He can’t complain about his hunting season but, the short wide is another story. 😂 we return to Houston next week! And we hope to receive even more great news! Never cease praying.
No matter what.
He is our walking miracle! 🫶🏽
