We love you Jina. Today’s news wasn’t shocking but does put a very long delay in getting to go to trial. We won’t stop showing up for you and being your voice. Love you always sis. 💕

Aaron Wright was set to stand trial this week in the stabbing death of a Lawrence woman, but his competency evaluation prompted a Douglas County judge to find that he is unfit for trial and needs treatment at Larned State Hospital first.

Very interesting information shared in this podcast — definitely worth a listen. My mind is still processing it. Important points were raised about cashless bail releases in Douglas County (discussion of her case starts around 11:25).
