Amplify Lawrence Summer Music Camp for girls and transgender youth. This camp is not limited to any specific genres or styles. Please see our website for more info.

Amplify Lawrence is an intersectional feminist movement associated with the international Girls Rock Camp Alliance. Amplify Lawrence hosts a week long summer camp in which girls and trans youth between ages 12-18 come together and form bands. Each band member will bring their own unique flavor to the band they form! The camp provides multiple workshops each day, including topics relating to song-writing, band promotion, team-building, intersectional feminism, movement, anti-oppression, self-defense, self-expression and more!

Who wants to attend a really sweet, one-of-kind experience to screen a film about the iconic band FUGAZI at Liberty Hall? 🎥 🍿🤘🏻

Our friends at LAAND inc. are collaborating with Lawrence Arts Center Love Garden and Liberty Hall to bring an ALL AGES screening of “We Are FUGAZI from Washington, DC” on Oct. 15 at 7pm.

This film is not on any streaming platform so don’t miss this! Let’s create a collective shared experience in the community much like their shows would.

The 18 and under $5 tickets will be available at the door. Adult tickets are $10. A portion of the ticket price will be donated to the ECM Community Justice Center

Hope to see you there! AMPLIFY! 🎙️🤘🏻🎸
