Thank you for supporting our Spread the Love campaign this year! We have loved to see the love being shown throughout the global feeding tube community in so many creative ways. You can still support our campaign throughout the month of February by making a donation to the fundraiser in our bio, or by continuing to show love to others by educating, encouraging, and connecting.

Our Valentine’s Day inspired Spread the Love campaign ends tomorrow, February 17. As a reminder, self love and self care are ongoing journeys, not destinations. As you navigate life with a feeding tube, remember that you are strong, resilient and deserving of happiness. Each step you take toward caring for yourself — both physically and emotionally — is a testament to your strength. Take this guide as a reminder: you are enough, exactly as you are.

Today marks a great day in history. Today is our first-ever “Spread the Love” campaign, an initiative developed by our dedicated Chief of Marketing & Communications, Sierra Cole. Sierra has been the face behind many of our marketing efforts, and what better way to kick off the launch of this project than to open it up by spreading the love with the creative heart and mind behind it. Sierra has served voluntarily in our organization since April of last year. She has thoughtfully, carefully, confidently, and successfully captured and demonstrated the Foundation’s core values in every project and initiative she’s taken on, leading us into a new era of leadership, innovation, and inclusivity. We 🫶🏼 you, Sierra! Stay tuned at 1 pm CST / 2 pm EST for more updates dropping! 🩵❤️

The Feeding Tube Foundation is looking for adults in the feeding tube community to help collaborate with us in amplifying our efforts to educate the public. We need your help in writing what it’s like to live with these types of feeding tubes — what better people to ask than those who navigate this in their every day lives. If you’re interested in this opportunity, please email us at [email protected]

The Feeding Tube Foundation is observing Black History Month by amplifying the voices and stories of Black leaders, families, and feeding tube patients. Bessie Blount Griffin was an American writer, nurse, physical therapist, inventor, and forensic scientist born in Newfield, NJ in 1914. Bessie invented the first portable receptacle support in 1948, which is now called the feeding tube.
