First meeting of the new 4-H year, Wednesday October 14th at the Grillot home. We will start at 6:30 pm with an Aerospace project activity presented by Asher Morgan. New officers will be officially installed and take over their duties.
Agenda and upcoming schedule will be posted in group me by Tuesday.
Don’t forget to enroll for the new year!!

Project record judging will take place, Saturday morning at 10 AM. If anyone is available to join me in judging it would be greatly appreciated. Let me know! There will be pizza for lunch. Even if you can only help out for an hour or two, that would be appreciated.

Don’t forget to sign up to participate in our service activity at Windsor this weekend. Saturday at 3 PM we are hanging the birdfeeders and playing bird bingo. Remember this is part of our 48 hours of service to 4-H.
Hope you can make it.

On SATURDAY October 10, at 3:00pm, we will meet at WINDSOR for gifting our BirdFeeders (made at the Sept 9 meeting) and have a little fun with Bird Bingo or other card games. 4-H Leadership and Club Skills Workshop | October 25 | 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. | Flory Meeting Hall

Calling all Douglas County 4-H members, officers, volunteers, and parents! Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop focused on building leadership skills and making your 4-H club successful.

Whether you are a new 4-H member, a returning member, a club officer, or a volunteer, you’ll leave with new skills, ideas, and confidence to make this a great 4-H year!

The 4-H club with the most attendance will receive a club pizza party sponsored by the Douglas County Fair Board.

Please register for our County-Wide Sewing Project on May 27 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Dreher Family 4-H Building. This meeting is for beginning and intermediate level sewers.

Concession Stand opportunity!! Pendleton’s Country Market has reached out asking for volunteers for a small concession stand during the Kaw Valley Farm Tour They provide all the main good we need 2 or 3 people to work the booth Saturday and Sunday from 9:30- 3:30. (Approximate). We also could sell homemade treats to accompany the meal if we have some bakers who can provide cookies etc. SIGN UP IS IN A SEPARATE POST OR IN GROUP ME.

PLEASE SIGN UP!!! Concessions at Pendletons October 3 - 4 Pendleton will provide the food, last year. It was pulled pork sandwiches and some other snacks and sodas. It’s a very small space. We just need two or three people at a time. We can provide some homemade cookies and sell those as well....
