THE NIGHT IS LONG. THE SHIRT DEADLINE IS GETTING CLOSE.

Register for Long Night in Lanford by October 15 to guarantee your race shirt.

On November 21, we start with the sunset and finish with the sunrise. One mile of trail at a time, headlamps in the woods, hot food and a whole crew of people keeping each other moving.

Walk it. Jog it. Run it. Complete the first lap at dusk and the last lap at dawn to earn your finish.

The Sawmill Gauntlet is not a traditional race. It is a test of discipline, endurance and refusal.

Choose your fight:

🎒 12 HOUR RUCK
Carry 25 pounds. Keep moving. Ring the bell when your race is over.

🐺 LAST RUNNER STANDING ULTRA
A 2.5 mile loop begins every 45 minutes. Make the next start or you are done. The field is already stacked with serious ultra runners ready to fight for the last lap.

Military members and first responders receive a special registration discount. Message the GOAT Trail Running page and we will send it directly to you.

There is also a bragging rights battle between the ultra runners and our military and first responder teams. Every mile counts, even if your individual race ends early.
