The AAAT Davis Foundation is a labor of love honoring lifelong blueprinted examples of one Woman’s support of 4 generations of military service me
mbers, philanthropic and volunteering service to communities and unwavering compassion for family. This foundation continues her pursuit, purpose and passion by connecting grass-roots and charitable efforts directly to identified impacted communities while promoting financial, physical and STEM education. That Woman was the daughter of Aaron Davis, Sr (the 1st A); the sister of Purple Heart recipient Aaron Davis, Jr (the 2nd A); the Mother of Adrienne Williams (the 3rd A), retired USAF and the aunt of Travell Bice (the T). Her giving spirit is missed; but shared through this organization. On 29 March 2023 in honor of my Blueprint's birthday, this foundation was established to continue her the unwavering dedication self, family, legacy and community with similar intent of compassion and love. It was not until I joined and graduated from the US Air Force Basic Training that I learned of her desire to serve as well, like her father and her older brother. Because my uncle gave the ultimate price to the US...his life, my Grandfather would not support nor sign for any of his daughters to serve. Yes, back then Women did need the consent of a male/Man for certain things. Also, as a result of losing my uncle so early in life, my family buried the hurt and rarely spoke of it . If they did speak of Uncle Aaron, it was in a context that most of my generation did not understand. Decades later I would learn my uncle gave his life honorably, heroically and was awarded the Purple Heart. So in March 1993, my Blueprint taught me about the legacy I joined by being the 3rd (of 4) generations to serve in the US Air Force. In researching and preparing for our official launch, I am learning just how rich the Davis Family Legacy really is. Stay tuned and even join us for fun events that will benefit those deserving of equitable opportunities.
